Hi All. I have just bought the Uniden UBC125XLT to replace a GRE PSR 282. The scanner seems nice, but I have to say that I am a bit put out at having paid for a product, I am directed in the instructions to download paid software to go with it. I would have expected at least light version of some software that I could use to programme the scanner.

I am therefore searching for any free alterantives that I could use to the ARC125 software. So far, I have seen that FreeSCAN and bcTool are not compatible with this scanner. I have seen that Uniden provide software for the US version, the bc125AT, but I read that this was not compatible with the European version of the scanner. Is anyone aware of any free software I could use to programme the scanner? Many thanks in advance.
