OblyTile is a simple little application which improves the usefulness of the Windows 8 Start Screen.

With OblyTile, you are given easy access to tile creation without having to mess around with Windows itself.

The layout of the application is easy enough and includes some options to create your own tiles. You can give it a name, provide a shortcut path (Program Path), image icons and customize the tile background from a list of preselected colors.

In addition, you can also set your tiles to run as administrator and more.

This program is definitely handy to have around for Windows 8 users, especially if you prefer to customize your Start Screen.
