Requirements

  1. Running MAC OSX ( tested on lion 10.7.3 )
  2. Copy of OSX Lion App
  3. 8 GB or Higher USB drive
  4. 30-40 minutes

PART 1 : Prepare DMG

  1. Download OS X 10.7.3 Lion from the App Store
  2. Go to the /Applications/ directory and right-click on “Install Mac OS X Lion.app” selecting “Show Package Contents”
  3. Open the “Contents” directory and then open “SharedSupport”, looking for a file named “InstallESD.dmg”
  4. Double-click on InstallESD.dmg to mount it
  5. open terminal and paste these commands to ShowAllFiles

    $ defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
    $ killall Finder

  6. Mount ‘BaseSystem.Dmg’

PART II : Prepare USB

  1. 2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
  2. Choose USB drive in left column
  3. Click Partition tab
  4. Click Current and choose 1 Partition
  5. ClickOptions…
  6. ChooseMaster Boot Record (important )
  • Under Format: choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
  • Click Apply and let it finish partitioning and formatting

    • Process

    1. Download UniBeast and run it
    2. Go like normal installation just next next
    3. Choose USB as destination
    4. choose Mac App Store “Install Mac OS X Lion”
    5. you can check for laptop support ( if you want to install in laptop )
    6. click continue andinstall
    7. it will take 20 to 35 minutes depend on your system

    and from chimera Bootloader Choose USB drive as your booting Partiton

    and go like normal hackintosh installation
